Proskins Review: The lightweight, booty-lifting compression legging.

Proskins Slim Full Length Leggings

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be sent a pair of Proskins leggings. After hearing multiple blogger/social media superstars rave about the tummy-flattering, bottom hugging compression leggings, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a pair.

Unfortunately, I do not have the confidence or sass to wear leopard print matching co-ords in the gym. My activewear largely consists of plain leggings & funky top or bright leggings & simple tops. The pair of Proskins that I was kindly gifted are plain black. However, these are not your average monochrome legging;  the light-weight stretchy material leaves the leggings with an “American Apparel Disco Pant” finish (6 year throw-back). Whilst they are still basic enough to be worn day-to-day under a chunky winter knit, the Proskins leggings also add that little something to an otherwise boring gym outfit: perfect for my gym wardrobe.

The fabric is so light weight compared to the majority of my other leggings, and although I probably wouldn’t grab my Proskins for a long-distance run on a chilly winter morning, they are ideal for those super sweaty gym sessions. The material keeps you cool by expelling sweat away, whilst the compression technology keeps your circulation in tip-top shape during your work out.

Proskins technology also claims to reduce the appearance of cellulite whilst “holding everything in”. While I am yet to witness any reduction in my cellulite (to be honest I don’t look at it that often!), the figure-hugging yet stretchy material does my beeeeehind absolute wonders, giving my tush that desired “lift” and rounding.

I’ve done everything in these leggings. Treadmill sprints, deadlifts, squats, brunch… you name it. These are the most versatile (and comfiest) pair of leggings I own and I can’t wait to get my hands on some more! Proskins are rapidly expanding their range and now offer a huge variety of colours and prints, as well as matching sports bras. With prices starting from £40 at http://www.proskins.co.uk, they’re well worth your hard earned pennies, I promise!

Thank you Proskins ❤
